With the development of mobile broadband and fixed broadband networks, the transmission capacity of base stations antenna has doubled, and microwave communication is facing increasing challenges in the 5G era.

 

Standard band microwave supports a transmission distance of up to 100km. It has high reliability and can meet the transmission requirements of macro station. However, the spectrum resources are becoming increasingly tight and the transmission bandwidth is low (< 1Gbps), so the capacity expansion is becoming more and more difficult. E-band microwave can support up to 20gbps transmission capacity through XPIC to meet LTE / 5G capacity requirements. However, the transmission distance is generally less than 5km, which cannot meet the backhaul demand of medium-distance macro station.

 

Shenglu microwave dual band antennas which can not only realize the long distance and high reliability of standard band microwave link, but also realize the large bandwidth of E-band link, is a perfect solution to solve these problems. It combines standard band microwave link (6-42GHz) and E-band (71-76/81-86GHz) to realize the solution of large bandwidth, long distance and high reliability. The standard band microwave link and E-band microwave link form a mutual protection mechanism, which ensures that the standard band microwave link can remain unblocked and the high priority service transmission can be guaranteed even if the weather and other factors affect the link during long-distance transmission.
